I randomly popped down to do some laps whilst working away and was told by the staff I could join onto a group already... booked in. What a great night it was! We had a 5min qualifying session, race, reverse grid race. The track is challenging with grass all around and right up to the back stuff so run wide or brake deep and you're done. It makes pushing to the limit much more rewarding when you get it right. The karts felt twitchy on the brakes and locked easily but that made it all the more fulfilling (probably to do with temperature and track conditions more than anything). Will definitely be going back again. One thing worth noting is they don't provide race overalls so make sure you're suitably dressed.read more

I'd highly recommend Sutton Karting. They have 270cc SODI karts and the average lap time is 40-45, seconds. The karts... hit speeds over 40mph and I enjoyed the sprint race with reverse grid format. The staff are super friendly and offer great advice. There is free parking available and they were COVID compliant. I'll be going again to try to better my lap timeread more

I'm yet to try this place and am only rating as someone has dropped a 1 star review for them not answering the phone,... whilst legally forced to close. Business owners don't need Karens making it any harder right now.read more

I wouldn't recommend this place if you are looking at a venue for a 'professional' race as they aren't able to marshall... to a consistent or safe level. It's a laid back track though so perfect for some track time if you're in the area, just fingers crossed you get a reliable kart!read more

Cracking little track, karts were in fantastic condition with lap timers on the steering wheels. Quali, race and then... reverse grid is a really good idea too. Only thing that was missing was a standing start from the grid, other than that I'd highly recommendread more

I used to go with a friend over 12 years ago and only came back recently to visit the circuit and much to my surprise... the original owner was still operating the track! All the staff there are mega nice, friendly and helpful. They're always on hand to give you pointers and advice about the track and racing in general if you're there to practice for a race or wanting to just improve your driving skills and they'll dedicate their time for you. There's no strict changing facilities as such, but if you can change in a confined space there are the toilets you can get ready in or the small briefing area round the corner of the entrance where the seating is can be used if there aren't many people about. The car park is right in front of the entrance door so I imagine people could get changed outside if the weather allowed. There aren't any lockers to store large bags, but the entrance is always manned and it's safe enough to leave your things with the staff there. Even 12 years ago when I last came the environment and equipment was clean, safe and organised - it's just the same today which is a real testament to the work put in by the owner(s) to keep the place running successfully all these years. The karts are well maintained and in good running order and the pit area and circuit are all well-kept. It's just a nice and homely environment to be in.read more

Came with work a few weeks ago and had a really good time.Turn up on the day and pay, no deposit required for our... group of 12. The staff are friendly and helpful and also very knowledgeable.Extremely well organized and well maintained facilities with a good selection of coveralls and cars for different sizes.Top 2 drivers got a trophy and the fastest woman/man got a box of chocolates.Certainly well worth every penny of my boss's money! Joking aside I would happily pay myself.read more
